27/01/10-01/02/10: Business Trip to Mumbai, India... Part 3

Not posting as often as I would like due to work and other commitments. CNY has been great, if only I had more time to spend. Here's the rest of the pictures... Hope u guys like it, would love to take more of Mumbai but security was so tight, hardly can take any pictures without being stopped by police or secu guard. So all I got was mostly the hotel XD

During the weekends we stayed at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel which was further to the office but heck we were so tired of work already. This place was a steal, at Rs6500 ($145 USD) it was so much better as compared to ITC Grand Central. Located at the top of a hill, this place is like paradise. If only 10% of Mumbai is like this, I would had fallen in love with it.

Surely I would love to have a room like this for my honey moon. A big view of the restroom from the bed. Hehehee ^^

Nice business section, modern and neat but it could had been better if the TV is able to face the table when wanted.

One of the breakfast plates that I have for two mornings. The food here is great which different varieties everyday. What I love the most was the super open kitchen and the lassi (drinkable yogurt)that I am able to mix with different dry fruits.

Swear they have at least 10 of these wine cabinets. Didnt actually find out whether the bottles are empty or full but it surely set the mood there.

These auto rickshaws are everywhere, just like those in Bangkok but a little smaller.

Notice the white specs everywhere? At first I thought my cam was spoiled so I tried taking several pictures then only I realised the cam was fine. It was DUST!!! the last time I had the same problem was in Yosemite, California but that was snow... THIS IS FREAKING DUST!!! After 20 minutes into Santa Cruz neighbourhood my nose was filled. GOSH, nearly whole of Mumbai is like this, but this place is...

True authentic Tandorii Chicken unlike those fake ones back in Malaysia which is soaked in tonnes of colouring.

South Indian food taken at a cosy family restaurant..

Kids playground... A clearing filled with debris, some kids were trying to get some fruit from a tree nearby so they threw rocks at it. I thought they are just gonna have tough luck but the first shot hit the fruit, gosh these kids are pros. A few other little ones tried after, and one fist size rock hit our car cracking the back brake lights. The driver just look at it and went away, didnt even bother to give the kids a nice scolding... lol

The food looks amazing! Dude, it looks more like a holiday instead of a business trip! Haha
